WRS Health Makes Telehealth Functionality Available at No-Cost to Clients Until June 30, 2020 in Order to Aid Providers During the COVID-19 Pandemic

 

GOSHEN, N.Y. – WRS Health, a certified and award-winning web-based provider of fully integrated EHR and Practice Management software solutions for medical specialties, announces it has made its Telemedicine functionality available at no-cost to its clients in order to enable the provider community a way to safely and effectively offer patient care during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This functionality is available to all WRS Health clients at no-cost until June 30, 2020.

“Telehealth is extremely important for our clients and their patients right now, because it can help reduce spread and slow down the amplification of this virus. If a physician does not have a safe alternative for treating patients, bad choices can be made such as seeing acutely ill patients in-person during a time when physicians cannot distance themselves like the general public can”, said Dr. Lawrence Gordon, CEO of WRS Health.

WRS Health’s telehealth functionality allows physicians to see patients remotely and is fully integrated into the EHR allowing medical staff to manage the virtual patient encounter from appointment scheduling to revenue cycle management on a single, cloud-based platform.

The Front Desk staff has the ability to schedule a telehealth visit in the EHR’s appointment scheduler the same way as any other appointment. Automated Confirmation and Reminder emails are sent to the patient with thorough instructions on how to make the virtual patient encounter a smooth and easy experience for both the physician and the patient. Before a virtual appointment, patients can self-check-in online through a check-in module and update clinical information as well as submit payments of co-pays. Clinical and billing staff can easily apply the correct and accurate CPT and ICD-10 codes to the encounter to facilitate payment for services rendered without fear of submitting inaccurate data.
